Two Galgo drawings by Jennifer Robak in the style of Leonardo Da Vinci’s Vitruvian Man

Latest News:

I’m getting really bad about print releases lately, yikes! It’s something I will need to work on.

The first two drawings of the Da Vinci Galgo series were made this month, and two more are in the works. Pondering sets of Italian greyhounds and Chihuahuas as well.

I’m still not really sure what I would like to do with these drawings, for now I’m just enjoying making them.

I still love painting with color and light, and I will certainly get back to it, probably mixing in some color projects soon. I just have a couple of things I would like to get done before mid-December and the end of the year.

In The Studio:

I’ve been working on two time-sensitive projects this month.

One is a non-dog painting (gasp) that I am doing for a Christmas gift for a friend. I can’t find what I want, so I decided to make it. It’s coming along, but not going as smoothly as I had hoped. I need to get it done soon so that I can have the art printed on something and ready for gifting.

The second project I’m more excited about, it’s the end of the year video I’ve been working on. That project has had a real learning curve to it, as I’m using a program I’ve never used before, so there is some learn-as-I-go happening.

I haven’t been sure if I would be able to get it done in time, but I’ve been trying to prioritize it, and I’ve made significant progress. As long as I’m OK with getting fewer new drawings/paintings done between now and then, it should come together in time.

At Home:

Things at home have been good. Even with much shorter daylight hours, I’ve managed to get most of the fall yardwork done.

Home has been peaceful, and I treasure every moment that I get to be here with my loving dogs. And the dogs have been doing great! They are healthy and happy and full of energy. These two, with their regular bouts of chase, wrestling, and generally rowdy play, make me smile and laugh every day.

I hope your November has been lovely, filled with precious moments, like warm snuggly dogs on a cold rainy night.

Thank you for being here, you are always appreciated!

XO

Jennifer
