There is a new print release of Asleep In The Sun! A Chihuahua and her closest friend curled up together in a square of warm, lovely sunshine. One of the quietly joyful moments in life with dogs.

In the “Studio”:

Launching the website was a really big deal for me. I had to push through a lot of long-ingrained self-doubt. But I knew that I had to do it if I was going to have any chance of chasing this dream, this beautiful dream of maybe, someday, being able to earn even a partial living from doing what I love. So, now I get to see where this adventure leads!

Just a few weeks in, and I find that much of the focus is on trying to establish a routine of creating art, posting, and product release. Trying to sell my art is completely new to me, and I don’t want to be too sales-y. I’m finding that I need to research other artists from a sales/marketing perspective, to observe what they do, and to take what might work for me and give it a try. Always so much to learn!

At Home:

The handsome Spaniard (Podenco) has been doing really well with his health! He has had issues with protein loss in his digestive tract, and many tests and many specialists has finally got us in good place. A huge thank you goes out to Dr. Lidia Pallo for recognizing the underlying problem and getting appropriate treatment started! It has taken over a year to get here, so this comes as a big relief.
The little man (mixed breed) is his happy, spunky self! No shortage off sass in this house!
I have faith that our little Chihuahua angel is watching over us, full of love.
