Scattered Spring

Latest News:

There is a new print release, Bright Beezer, that has been added to the print shop. A portrait of a beautiful Ibizan hound (Podenco Ibicenco), with a classic bright, alert expression. Fans of this stunning breed will agree that this expression is one of the (many) traits that draws us to these amazing primitive dogs.

In The Studio:

My art time continues to be plagued by lack of focus and indecision. There are a number of things that I want to work on… painting ideas, drawing exercises, anatomy studies, painting exercises, designs… not just finished paintings, but things to keep improving my skills and maybe even some product/merchandise development.

I’m struggling with organizing these projects so that I can work on each of them a little at a time, regularly.

Time management/prioritization is an issue.

At Home:

Continuing my time management theme… I’ve been trying to work a little spring cleaning into my routine. If I could just get a little done on a regular basis, that would be fine. I don’t have the spare time for major cleaning projects…or to be more accurate, I won’t prioritize the cleaning over my art time and time playing with my little man. The little guy is the light of my life and my reason for doing everything. There has to be time for tricks, and play, and sniffy searches every day! His happiness is of utmost importance!

I do wish that the spring weather would get on with it already. We have had a lot of cool, rainy weather lately. I always feel better when there’s some warmer and sunny days and I can spend some time outdoors.

I hope that all is going smoothly in your world, with plenty of time to enjoy all your favorite things!

Listen to the birds sing, smell the flowers, and don’t forget to laugh out loud when you play with your dog! 💖
