Marching Onward

Latest News:

Announcing a new print release, “Radiant Chihuahua”, a colorful painting capturing the essence of a long-haired Chihuahua basking in the warm glow of the sun.

This high-quality print is perfect for any little-dog lover, and is sure to brighten any space with the joy that Chihuahuas bring.

In The Studio:

As the stressful events of the past several months start to give way to longer days and signs of spring, I’m starting to feel a little more like myself again (most of the time), thank goodness.

I’m starting to feel my motivation coming back, getting lots of new ideas for paintings and projects, and making lists of these ideas (because I know if I don’t, I’ll forget).

This tends to be my “normal” state, having more ideas than I possibly have time to execute (especially while working a regular full-time job). All these fun ideas keep me motivated and always looking forward to the next project.

Fingers crossed that there will be lots of pretty paintings coming in the months ahead.

At Home:

While there are still moments of sadness every day from missing Romeo (and Chihuahua, Maggie, as well), the increase in sunshine, singing birds, and flowers starting to poke through the soil have been doing a lot to lift my spirits.

I adore the daily play sessions with my little man and I’m starting to mull over thoughts of getting a little playmate for him. I’m not quite ready yet, but I know that even with as much as he loves all the attention he’s getting, he would love to have another dog in the family again, a devoted playmate. Not yet, but maybe soon.

Wishing you all the joy that spring brings, sunny days, singing birds, muddy walks, and staying snuggled indoors on rainy afternoons.

God bless!

Jennifer
